New Garden - Kingston

Sometimes you just need one night, Chinese food and Netflix. Our popular Chinese food community changed hands last year and just wasn't the same, so we're talking about new places. First (not just new) is New Garden. Often hyped we found it... it's good, but not great. The price was decent and the pieces were large. The staff was friendly both on the phone and when we picked up. The best part of the meal were the stellar egg rolls. I would have eaten a dozen. The rest of the meal was standard take Chinese food tariff. Everything was good, but nothing will drive us back (except the egg rolls)

We find the best Chinese food in the city. A pretty jewel. The owner will always serve you yourself and knows what you order all the time and offers great service. Prices are good and portions are large and always served hot. Restaurant and laundry room are clean.

The service was excellent and the owner was jovial. Our food came in literally minutes, it was perfectly cooked. The veggies were perfected. I like my food on the spicier tastier side and found that the meals were ready to appeal... to everyone. Overall the value, food, service were very good. I will return.

We had heard good things about this restaurant, so we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. We had 4 adults 4 children. There is a 10% discount for a pick up on a payout over $45. Including taxes it was only under $60, and we had enough left for 2 or 3 to have another meal. The service was good, and the food was good. If you decide to dine in the place, it is not fantastic, it is not a fine restaurant, but it will not matter to you that how the food service will bring you back. We'll be back.

We had the combination plate was very good, we took it as take out. The service was fast and food was enjoyable.
