Bidra med feedbackI came in and took a lobster roll and thought that a fish business would serve something very good. In the end, I was terribly wrong. It looked full, but it had the appearance of imitation lobster and the taste of ...but nothing other than the... Filler and Mayo that was in it. I didn't finish it. This used to be an amazing fish house when Mike owned it. The lobster tank was dirty, the place looks worn, and the supply of fresh seafood and fish is missing. The lobster roll has simply proved what I did not wish to accept that this fish store does not roll in good lobster rolls or in good food. Such a shame.
Hands down the worst fish and chips I've ever had. The fishbatter was dark brown and overtaked while the fish in the center was raw. Apparently, a frozen fillet splashed into hot oil. The frits were a little better, but not yet fresh cut.... After frozen ingredients only sown in the oil After two bites everything ended in the garbage. Not what I expected from a fish and chip shop. Overall, a very raw experience is not repeated again.
I was on recommendation from friend, Haddock and Chips. The coating was very, as you get from pancake batter, with flour lumps under a greasy layer of heavy, hard bread without crunching at all. The fish was 2 rectangles of sufficient... a lot of what felt like formed fish, not good, but not bad. The chips were boiled unconsistently on the Soggy stage, and even hungry I couldn't finish at that time. While I accept that this was unprecedented and probably losing some of the crunchy in (15 minutes) travels, it was, compared to other Kingston restaurants, various extracts (which we use once or twice a week since COVID) of such modest quality, I could not recommend.
Frozen French Fries...Dirty oil breeds dark oily fish...and pulverized gravitation... in town...Lazience... my prediction closed 2021!
Stopped in here for some takeout as I remembered it being good, especially the homemade potato chips. The place seemed a bit dirty, there were no fresh lobsters in the tank (maybe they were sold out? and the chips were just ok.
