51st State Brewing Company - Kingsford

We travel with the motorcycle in the upper peninsula and I decided that I went on a pizza, so I went online and asked what the best pizza is in my area, 51. State Brewing Company appeared as one of the ten best in the area, so saw its website and thought type of an interesting place and had very high reviews. As we went to the restaurant, we were certainly not disappointed the pizza was great, place was spotless clean, our server was fantastic and the prices reasonable. Something off the beaten path, but worth the trip, oh almost forget the beer selection was top shelf with many possibilities. Family owned and run that is beautiful in these times. Every time we're in the area, this will be a stop.

Large small brewery and pizza place in the UP. All beers served are their local brews and flights are available so you can taste them all if you want. The service was quick and friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating available when the weather allows. Prices were more than reasonable and pizza was AMAZING! A must to visit when you are in the North Forest.

Very good pizza. Some of the best we had! Of course we enjoyed the beer. The lemon handy and orange wheat beer were our favorites. We even have a few tombs to go. One thing to note, the terrace is NOT a dog friendly. We first decided to stop as we had our dog and thought we could sit outside with her. You can tie the dog to the outside of the fence if you have a table along the side, but the dog is not allowed on the terrace. That was our fault we didn't check in time, but our dog was good in the car. Just thought people should know before time how many breweries we were to allow dogs on their terraces or inside. We'll be back.
