Kingscote Take Away/Dine In

The chips were fantastic, the service was friendly, the atmosphere was nice and clean. We will definitely be coming back before we leave.

I recently enjoyed the best hamburger I've had in a long time at this restaurant. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious. I couldn't have asked for anything better than this experience.

I waited 50 minutes for an incorrect, overpriced order at this restaurant. When I brought up the issue, the staff member shrugged it off without any intention of fixing the problem. I typically don't leave reviews for businesses, but after a long and exhausting day without food, I am disappointed that I paid for something I couldn't eat.

Visiting KI Kingscote? Dont bother ordering from here....unless ur wanting to wait 45 minutes to get ur food! Yes 45 minutes after ordering paying. No apology...just excuses of 'we are busy '! Err...no it wasnt!!! Heads up to the owners team members...be curteous to visitors...let us know theres a wait! We could have filled in some time while waiting. Two of our party decided to try somewhere else...they ordered ate before ours had even been started to b prepared. Heads up team...when a patron pays $3 for a pineapple fritter...plz dont cook it til its dead dry black!!! Then try and smother it with cinnamon to hide it being burnt! Did not appear to have batter on it either! Outside of frutter was oily u cld scrape the cinnamon off. Did not eat it. Bit into it only....pineapple was dry. We were running late to get to the ferry to go home...or else you would have got it all back! Bacon needs to be cooked not heated by th way thx...something to do with a health issue I believe. We have tried here before on a separate visit...similar situation...but not this bad. When a local comes in their food sits waiting in the warmer for 10minutes while he is there is terrible. By thexway he shook his head in disgust...I 'd imagine he wasnt happy! No communication. With un-employment high I dont understand why you dont get in some unemployed experienced help. Wont be back. I feel sorry for the locals.
