Las Panchitas - Kings Beach

The place is dirty, the food is not so good and the service is slow.

Cold food. They tried to blame it on how busy it is but that doesn?t mean you should be delivering cold food. I had no problem with how long it took to get it. This place is also super over priced. 2 beers and a taco plate cost 30 bucks ha this place is a joke.

Amazing Menudo here. The chef deserves praise. Food was delicious, ordered a michelada and it also great. Our server Pedro was great and helpful. I come to Tahoe once in a while and when I return, I'll definitely stop by here for the great food and service.

The enchiladas and the Chile relleno was average. The food was hot and freshly made but it lacked authentic flavor.

We dropped by here between hikes to grab a bite. We were talking about where to go and saw this place as we drove by on our way to a burger spot closer to the trail. I'm glad we did because the people are friendly and the food tasted good to me... the guy I was with, who grew up with Mexican food, said the food was alright. He liked the carnitas themselves, but wasn't a fan of the rice or beans and I brought up the fact that we had to consider how food is sometimes tweaked to suit the taste of the main clientele. We ate outside so I didn't really see the inside of the place, but the weather wasn't bad so that was okay. My margarita was alright too.
