Lake Effect Juice Bar - Kincardine

I only stopped by because the outside reminded me of a place I stopped at in Tofino! I was delighted by the interior, the service and most importantly the product. My daughter and I decided to share a 'Crack Monkey" (I think that was the name of it :) ) It contained banana, dates, peanut butter, cocoa and espresso! The lovely woman behind the counter even poured it into two cups for us! The flavour was amazing! Would definitely would go again the next time I am in Kincardine!

They opened last year, but I stopped in to try one of their smoothies for the first time. It's a small, friendly business and the menu isn't overwhelming. I ordered 2 Tropical Smoothies. One for my self and brought one to my daughter who works downtown. It's a great pick me up afternoon snack. Next time I'll order the coffee one for her, since she likes coffee. It's nice to have something different, so I can see the summer being busy for them this year. .

I love the warm greeting from the staff at Lake Effect as soon as I enter the restaurant! Ordering from their Facebook page makes it easy to enjoy their tasty smoothie and juice options for a quick and nutritious meal on the go - be sure to try Lolo's Tropical Twist or the Lemon Ginger Zinger!

Friendly service, delicious juice. A great addition to Kincardine. Love the lemon and lime combo, and the summer lemonade with maple syrup. All natural goodness!!!

I had never tried a Smoothie before, but now I'm a fan. How can something so delicious also be good for you? I've only been twice, and both times I tried the chocolate monkey. I've heard great things about the green smoothie, but the 20 ounce size seems like a lot. I hope they offer more options in a smaller size, but I wouldn't mind having the chocolate smoothie again. I was initially surprised by the price, but even the small size felt like a healthy and filling lunch.
