The Shed - Kimberley

Although they have recently improved, the restaurant was very cold, too cold for the fall season. We had to wait for it to warm up, which impacted our overall experience. The BBQ food was tasty, but the portion sizes were small and the prices were high. Unfortunately, there was nothing spectacular or memorable about the meal that would make us want to return.

After living in Kimberley for 15 years, we have a strong desire to support local businesses. We have been frequent visitors of The Shed since their opening. However, we were disappointed with the recent menu changes, which now focus heavily on smoked meats. Our experience with their signature rolls was underwhelming, as they were mostly filled with a mushy, milky coleslaw with little meat. To make matters worse, we found the prices to be exorbitant ($15 for a bungalow with no additional sides, and even fries are extra). Sadly, we do not plan on returning to The Shed when the menu changes again.

I came here for a few drinks and to pass the time. This place is really cool. My friend had the Shed Berry lemonade and said it was delicious. I tried the Jalapeño Pineapple Margarita and while it was strong, it was really good. The food also smells amazing.

My spouse and I toured Kimberley and saw that this pub/restaurant had a good rating, so we stopped for a visit. Friendly staff and a good mood from the pub. We shared a sandwich called The Farm, which consisted of; Brisket,...Pulated pork, smoked chicken, creamy sponge, roasted onions, Texas, and Carolina BBQ sauce. As a side we had the Pickled Portobello mushroom and both were delicious! My husband is not a fan of any kind of mushrooms, but even he had 2 of them and enjoyed them. We have family for a visit and bring them there for a taste! They also have pieces of meat frozen to take home, which are very good and only $8.00 everyone!

Had the opportunity to be in Libby and eat at the Shed. First time was for dinner followed by Sunday brunch a week later. The place has a cool rustic appearance. The staff makes you feel at home. The food is awesome be it rib...eye steak for dinner or chicken fried steak bites for breakfast.
