Bidra med feedbackWe had a wonderful dining experience at the Garden Bar. The ambiance was inviting and cozy, with well-spaced tables for comfort. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was exceptional, especially the crab and scallop dish and prawn Caesar salad that we ordered for our main courses. The bread and butter pudding dessert we shared was outstanding, and the bottle of Muriel Rioja recommended by our server Noreen was a perfect choice. The Christmas atmosphere was top-notch. We highly recommend this restaurant.
This restaurant is located in a 5-star hotel and has the atmosphere and prices you would expect. The food was average, so don't expect fine dining. However, the ambiance, with a pianist playing a variety of music from Irish classics to modern tunes, and the drinks make it worth a visit.
We traveled from Dublin to Killarney and dined at this restaurant for our first meal in town. Our server Felipe was incredibly attentive, as were the other servers. Felipe provided excellent service and appeared to have been trained in a Michelin Star restaurant. The drinks we ordered were well-crafted, and the chili bread was delicious, prompting us to ask for seconds. The potted prawns were also tasty, resembling shrimp salad. For our main course, I had the fish curry with shrimp, salmon, and Monkfish, which was a fantastic dish that left me craving more. We ended the meal with the chocolate parfait, a delicious conclusion. Thank you again, Felipe! We will definitely be returning.
Greeted with a smile and brought to a choice of tables. Table, chairs and floor were spotless. Ordered some Guinness and wine to start. Pint was excellent (Wine went down well too). Ordered the Steak Sandwich and Chicken Cesar Salad, both delicious, I think the steak sandwich was the best I have ever had. Steak cooked perfectly and the contrast of tastes in the sides/garnish were excellent, really cant describe it. Staff were attentive and well drilled, also all had excellent hygiene, masks were worn correctly and tables cleaned well when guests had left. So good we returned the next day for lunch... And Dinner. Brown Bread is also very tasty. Irish Coffee went down a treat too. Only bad thing was we didn't go out and look at the Gardens. Will return when we are in Killarney again.
Just three of us for dinner. We were here before and expectations were high, even tho' dining outdoor due to Covid. Menu limited, dinner poor, service very poor looked like insufficient staff. A disappointing evening out
