Kilkenny Ormonde

It was my first time staying in the Kilkenny Ormonde hotel, but it will not be my last. Absolutely stunning hotel with amazing staff and facilities. The rooms were spotless and so comfy you'd forget you were in a hotel The inclusive breakfast was delicious with food to cater for all ages and dietary preferences/requirements. Slap bang in the center of Kilkenny city. Parking available. Can't rate this hotel highly enough.

My family and I had food there yesterday. It was delicious. We will definitely be back.

The hotel is ideally located, a short walk from all major attractions, shopping streets and bus stop to Dublin and Cork in Ormonde Road. The rooms are very spacious, bright and well equipped (including coffee and tea kettle). Comfortable beds with excellent cushions. Fast and stable Wi-Fi connection. Altogether friendly and efficient staff. Very good restaurant, with appreciable value for money, especially for family menus. Great is free access to the pool and wellness air. I would have given a judgment of excellence if there were no details to improve, not secondary in my experience. First of all the soundproofing, good among the rooms but lacking out: in the weekend unfortunately there are distinctly music and call from the street and from pubs not very close: We had to sleep with the plugs. Second, breakfast, good altogether for quality but little varied, taking into account the level of the hotel, especially for the sweet and fruit part. I would nevertheless strongly recommend the stay.
