I booked this reservation on Open Table on a very busy holiday weekend night the same day . We arrived on time and the table was ready to go . No waiting was required and the hostess greeted me a warm greeting and smile. The service and food was excellent. I will return .

We sat at the outside tables! Very pleasant!, despite being In a strip mall setting! Crispy Brussels sprouts were amazing! Inventive menu!, nice drinks! Reasonably priced( for Maui)

I was disappointed by the lack of taste for the lamb shank entree. It tasted just like the beef stew. The server/service was friendly and helpful.

We have been to Shearwater Tavern before and I gave it a slightly better review. This time, the waitstaff was slower and kept saying it was a “crazy night” but it didn’t seem to be terribly busy...just normal for the season. One of our party received their meal before the rest...which would be okay, if the others came out soon after. But 10-15 minutes passed, then the power went out. We waited and got 2 more meals in the dark with the last arriving a good 30 minutes after the first! We basically watched each other eat. Still, the food was good. The cocktails were very good. $170 for 4 people, including tip. One shared appetizer, 4 entrees and 6 drinks...pretty reasonable for Maui.
