Penny's Pizza Pasta - Kīhei

Wood fired pizza made with care. It was perfectly cooked no black burnt crust like many other places. If toppings were locally sourced, it would have been perfect. Generous toppings. Excellent service. Good wine. Friendly staff.This place is a cute, hidden gem.

The food was good, nothing over the top! But still yummy. We had the vegetarian pizza and the mushroom chicken garlic penne both were yummy! If you want Italian in Kihei I would consider penny’s. The view of the ocean across the street was the best!

Our server (I really wish I could have remembered her name) was incredible. Not only was she incredibly friendly, she gave us some great tips on local snorkeling scenes!The food was honestly the best pizza I have ever tasted. Absolutely incredible, with a fantastic variety of pizza types and i had no issues removing specific ingredients I didn't want (although I regretted having them removed, my advice is to trust the menu!)The view from the restaurant is fantastic, close enough to hear the waves from the ocean and even catch glimpses of some local wildlife.I truly can't reccomend this incredible restaurant enough for anyone visiting Mauii in need of some good home food!Kid-friendliness: One little boy lost his sandal between the slats of the floor to his parents dismay. Our lovely server climbed down below the deck and retrieved the sandal with a smile and not the smallest amount of irritation!

We went here two times in a row because it was just this good! Open air seating, eating supreme pizza and with a view of the ocean! Can’t recommend this place enough! Also relatively affordable when compared to local places! So good!

The pizza is good, and if you’re craving Italian while you’re in Kihei, this is the place to go! It’s not going to blow you away vs top-tier Italian restaurants or pizzerias, but it’s solid enough to scratch the itch. Watch out for the wild chickens who swoop in to get your table scraps (not kidding)!
