The location is fantastic for kids and dogs to sit outside by the canal. Plenty of seating inside and out. My meal was delicious the perfect portion size and very reasonable priced! It was a Bank Holiday and they put on a very good BBQ and a free Bouncy Castle. To top it all, the service of the staff was EXCELLENT! very friendly and helpful. I spent a good 3 hours there and would recommend it to others. I will be back for sure!
We 've adopted this place as our 'local ' since moving to the area a few weeks back. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The canalside beer garden is a nice relaxed place with a bouncy castle for the littl 'ens. The cider it cold and crisp, although it would be nice to see some Old Rosie on tap. The food... I tried the fish and chips this evening after my wife and one other person recommended them. I was not disappointed. They were possibly the best I have ever had. Very impressed. If you are visiting by boat on the canal then they have private visitor moorings right next to their garden which you can use.
The food was excellent, the location was easy to find, and the parking was straightforward. The staff were friendly, although the dogs were a bit noisy. Overall, the atmosphere was fantastic. Thank you!
We enjoyed a bank holiday brunch at this lovely restaurant. We ordered the club sandwich and the chicken sandwich, both of which were delicious. The location by the canal was beautiful, providing a great view of the boats passing by.
