Beach is perfect! Ocean colors amazing and very clean. Beautiful trees here and also very beautiful picnic area is at the same place. When you come here, you need to wait sunset and watch that fascinating sunset time. I love that. It is very beautiful experience!

The beach here is absolutely beautiful. Bring your water shoes some parts are a bit rocky. There are sand banks and picnic tables. You have concessions beautiful bathroom and a decent amount of parking. The fort was really cool, I share photos.

Beautiful place Like the beach Spacious and clean. You can pamper yourself on the beach or decide to stay under the trees that sit on a bench next to the table. They also have fireplaces. I saw a girl she used a hammock. Had no chance to check the fort. The entrance fee is $2.5 per person, we paid $7 for the car with 2 adults and a child. Parking is really big, so don't worry.

Self toured the fort and enjoyed the view, then went to the beach area where we enjoyed a sandwich from the onsite food shack. Lazed around and enjoyed the sound of the surf and warmth of the sun, then watched the sailboats passing during the sunset hour. Walking the very short distance from the picnic area to the shoreline was a bit uncomfortable due to a section of small rocks obviously laid their by the powers that be be sure to have walking shoes for the short trip between the picnic area and the sand at the shoreline. Parking was adequate and close to the areas we visited and park entry fee very reasonable. The bathrooms near the fort were atrocious no paper, dirty, no soap dispensers, no working hand dryers or towels. The bathrooms at the beach area, however, were basically clean and stocked with necessities. Would have given 5 stars if the one set of restrooms had been usable.

Beach area is beautiful and clean. Full service beach concession stand with hot food; changing area/restroom; beach chair and umbrella rental. Loved it. Did not visit historic fort yet...
