Sumera - Kettering

My 12-yr old son and I visited Sumera on Far Hills in Kettering for the first time a few weeks ago. I wasn't sure what to expect, because I haven't had much sushi yet. And I wasn't sure how my son likes it. Both were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant clean, the staff friendly, and the food very, very good! Yes, Sumera is along the same lines as Chipotle and Piada (near neighbors of this store, actually). But unlike Chipotle, you can really hear yourself thinking about Sumera. I like the format (rolling or bowling) and the idea that you can choose from predetermined active ingredient combinations, or your own. The ingredients are fresh and well prepared. The shares are a great value for the costs. We have been back at least 5 times since our first visit. Every time we are greeted with a friendly smile and a great meal! I recommend Sumera as an alternative to all the usual dishes.
