Bidra med feedbackThey abuse prices ? don't buy the food there, everything is very expensive ?
I can’t say enough about the food. It was so unbelievably delicious. We went once and loved it so much we went again the week after. Both times all the food was amazing, the service was fantastic, zero complaints about that. The ONLY complaint we have was the cleanliness. The booth we were put in was dirty, but no big deal easy to clean quickly. However it was the state of the bathrooms we had an issue with. My 12 year old son walked in one and walked right out and said Nope I can hold it. I went into one and didn’t even want to touch the light switch, it was so dirty and smudged with I don’t know what. I understand bathrooms can get rather dirty quite quickly but they were both really dirty both times we went in and we were there when it wasn’t busy.
First, the location at 307 McLeod Ave has closed and the new address is 7 Tri Leisure Way suite 108 which is just off Jennifer Heil Way near the Trans Alta Sports Center and the Holiday Inn Express. The new location is on the first floor of a medical building and has plenty of parking and lots of windows for a bright clean ambiance. Upon entering we immediately noticed the authentic music at the perfect level and were greeted warmly and offered a table. We ordered a couple of beers which were brought to us by the owner Raoul who is a warm and personable man who discussed some of the items on the menu. We decided to start by sharing and order of Huarache with beef (a delicious thick corn tortilla with beans, meat, cheese, and vegis) and an order of Aguachile (a shrimp dish with cucumbers and red onions swimming in sauce). Our server Paige brought our appetizers along with a salsa platter and corn tortilla chips and explained the heat levels of each of the salsas. We let Paige know we also wanted to get additional food and ordered Tinga Tacos (shredded chicken with cabbage) and Enchiladas with Red sauce and asked that she wait 15 minutes to place to order to give us time to enjoy our first course. The only drawback to our dining experience was that we did not properly communicate our desire to wait for the hot food so she brought it out before we were even halfway done our appetizer. This meant that by the time we got to it, it was almost cold however, it still tasted fantastic. I cannot even begin to describe how intense all the flavors were and they reminded me of my trips to Mexico when I ate things I had never heard of. Every bite was a flavor explosion and we had fun combining the foods with the variety of salsas provided. There was no way we could eat another bite when we were done so we did not try any of their desert offerings. All in all, this was a fantastic dining experience that I never would have thought possible in Spruce Grove.
Outstanding authentic Mexican fare. Have had the enchiladas, burritos and tacos. All extremely yummy. Prices are very reasonable and there are several Mexican beers too!
Tortillas are handmade and made to order. The menudo here is the best in town, so flavorful and delicious.
