Fantastic vibe. Right on the river. Limited but decent menu. POP up, only open Dec till early Jan. Accessible by rough dirt road or river.

An absolutely beautiful spot, taking in the nature and beauty of the river and boats moving alongside the the restaurant makes this a very nice spot to get drinks only, if you plan on eating look else where and don’t even bother, you could drive to PE get KFC and drive back to this place and your order would still not be ready yet, the manager is extremely rude telling people to deal with the wait time and doesn’t care at all (2 hours at minimum) and even seeing him throw plates at his employees in the kitchen while clearly drunk, absolutely disappointing and appalling, the value for food is also lacklustre R110 plus for a burger that tastes unpalatable, recommended for drinks only. I recommend they shut down the kitchen if you can call it that and install a vending machine, this would be a better alternative to what they have.

The food and service was great, staff and owner checked in on us and attended to us well. It has a lovely laid back vibe and plating was efficient. The only drawback as a person of colour is the unwelcoming patrons, my country still has a long way to go in terms of accepting people of colour in areas previously reserved for a select few. People literally hid their phones when we walked in, not sure who the thief is between my husband, kids and I. It was very awkward conversation with the boys, buy necessary I guess. Anyways the place is good and the food great. Cocktails would be superb too. We still choose to support local,to support jobs and strive to build a better nation. I will go back.
