Falafel King Of New Orleans - Kenner

Sorry, but this place ain’t no king of nothing! I don’t know who gave this the place a 4 plus rating, but let me tell you that the falafel sandwich I had gives falafel a bad name. It’s not authentic whatsoever. The bread and falafel were soggy and no sauce was added. Worst sandwich I’ve had a long while.

Call before you go. We just took a $20 taxi here from the airport. They were supposed to be open according to Google hours but weren’t.

I was the only customer there and they messed up 2 3 of my order! Worse, the food was bland and mediocre at best very disappointing. I ordered the kufta kabob with hummus and tabouli and got baba ghanoush and a salad instead they were out of falafel). It was takeout, I had a nice conversation with the guy ?owner), tipped very well and left, not checking the bag like I was at a McDonald 's drive thru. When I got all the way home, I called to let him know about the order and the guy just didn 't really care. He just said he 'll address it the next time I come in, AS IF there 's going to be a next time! I should have been issued a CREDIT. He knew he didn 't give me what I ordered how could there be confusion when I was the ONLY order?! He pretended he was confused about the sides right, because hummus and baba ghanoush sound so much alike. When I asked about the salad instead of tabouli, he said he didn 't have any parsley what?! So clearly, he switched my sides, decided not to tell me, and let me leave. I told him he should 've been honest if he didn 't have the sides I ordered. Terrible way to do business and must not want or care about repeat customers. So much for trying to support a small local business. Also, the garlic sauce is NOT toum but bottled vinaigrette salad dressing with chopped garlic in it horrible. Never again there is waaaaay better Mediterranean Lebanese food in NOLA folks!

True to its name, the falafel was so good! I ordered the falafel plate that came with delicious rice, creamy hummus, a fresh salad and pita. I also got an order of baba ghanouji, so good. And it was super quick, friendly service! Thank you!

Disrespectful prejudice racist place and the so called man that makes the pizza is gross never seems to wash his hands but makes all the bread . Gave the pizza I ordered to another customer when there was only 2 tables being occupied the liar said it was an accident.... If you black beware and watch your food . He is trifling and dirty and i won't bring my dog to eat hear. Ps you don't know who can translate Arabic ....
