Best kept secret in Jefferson Parish, they are always open and you can't beat the breakfast meal it will fill you up without emptying your wallet, awesome donuts always have glaze fresh out of the fryer

I wanted glazed donuts, so the lady went to the back to get them, I get home and there's no glaze

I used to love this place several years back. Don't know if they're racist because it has a new owner or its just the waitresses this morning. I arrived before 6am. The waitress told me that I had to wait to order breakfast because they don't serve breakfast til 6am, so while I waited I ordered a cup of coffee and a donut. I payed and tipped as I always do! When 6am came, I placed my order, while i was waiting for my order to be made, I went to put gas in my car. When I got back, the order still wasn't made, I wasn't mad yet though. I wasn't even mad when I went in there 3 times after TO CHECK IF MY ORDER WAS READY!!!! However I did get mad when the Kenner Police Officer came to my car to let me know that this place called the police because they said I kept driving away and coming back that I looked SUSPICIOUS! I left this business 1 TIME to put gas in my car (to kill time while I waited on my order). Was I suspicious because I was told breakfast wasn't served until 6am and I decided to wait because I WAS HUNGRY? WAS I SUSPICIOUS BECAUSE MY ORDER WAS READY TIL ALMOST 7AM? I NEVER ONCE COMPLAINED NOR FROWNED! CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT THEY HAVENT BEEN FRIENDLY THE LAST FEW TIMES I WENT IN THERE, (NEW WAITRESSES/NEW OWNER/ALL CAUCASIAN STAFF/PREDOMINATELY ELDERLY CAUCASIAN CUSTOMERS)! MAYBE A BLACK MAN ISN'T ALLOWED TO EAT HERE OR MAYBE BC MY CAUCASIAN GIRLFRIEND CAME IN THE FACILITY FOR ME TO PLACE MY ORDER AND HANDLE ALL BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS BECAUSE THIS IS NOT MY FIRST TIME EXPERIENCING RACIAL PROFILING/ DISCRIMINATION AT THE PLACE! OVERALL: PRICES WENT UP HERE, QUANTITY AND QUALITY OF FOOD WENT DOWN, SINCE NEW MANAGEMENT!! IF YOU ARE BLACK OR NOT RACIST DON'T GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS BECAUSE IF YOU DO THESE TYPES OF BUSINESSES WILL ALWAYS EXIST! NO ROOM FOR RACISM 2018

Stopped here for coffee before making the long haul to Pensacola, FL. Family owned, hot coffee, and amazing sourcreme doughnuts...it doesn’t get better than that. On your way to MSY or just getting in, it’s a must stop! Jess is amazing!!!

Went to get donuts around 7am and they had no donuts out. Had to ask if they had hot donuts. Got a dozen glazed, got to work, opened the box, and they barely had any icing on it. This is not the first time this happened. We've stopped going for awhile cause of this and probably not going back for some time. They use to be really good.
