Watson's Chcolates - Kenmore

Nice staff, modest selection of chocolates, and a great location with rear parking available. The candy is fresh and flavored chocolates have a strong taste no skimping with the ingredients! The ceiling vents have not been cleaned in months and corners were dusty, but mostly clean.

I was taking a stroll after having a good lunch at the taco place couple of shops down. The first thing that caught my eye was the board that said sponge candy. I had never heard of it and decided to give it a try. The lady was so courteous, kind and offered me a sample of the sponge candy. It was so light and a true melt in the mouth. Bought some for my friends and everyone loved it. There are a lot of chocolate options and it will be hard to leave this shop without buying something.

The history of sponge candy is a long and contentious one, and I'm not about to go into at this point, but there is little question in my mind that Watson's knows how to make it, and sell it, and ship it. And of course, like any good candy/chocolate shop, they have many other fine options. In my limited experience at the shop itself, the proprietors are friendly and helpful. If you live near one, go, but don't complain to me if you become morbidly obese.

The best local chocolate in Buffalo, maybe even the country. Hands down the best local sponge candy. Been going there since I was a little kid and will always go there to ease my sweet tooth.
