Subway - Kempsey

My husband and I have made it a regular habit to order the chicken teriyaki and salad from this restaurant. The young lady who helped us was incredibly friendly and guided us through the salad selection process. We opted to have it grilled, and the end result was very tasty and satisfying. The portion size was generous, with plenty of chicken packed on top of the bed of salad. We will definitely be returning here in the future.

It's clean. Staff well presented. Eating to the usual underground standard. A note for visually impaired or those with literary problems: layout cannot be the same as your subway exit and if you do not notice the sign, and are in the wrong place to serve... staff cannot tell you and serve those who come after you. This could be easily eliminated with the training of personnel. Limited parking spaces.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at this restaurant. I mistakenly stood in the wrong place to be served, as it was at the opposite end of town from where I live. The staff initially ignored me and did not offer any assistance until I realized my mistake and moved to the correct location. I found this lack of customer service to be quite rude. However, once they did finally serve me, the food was delicious.

Very busy on Saturday afternoon after the bakeries close at noon. Small tired old site with competent staff serving a clientele familiar with their range and patiently explaining the system to newbies

Kempsey Subway is, well, a Subway, so everyone knows what the food is like. However, what can be said about Subway in Smith Street, Kempsey, is that the manager must be careful in staff selection, as most staff are efficient and friendly, and that visible...food preparation appears to be of a good standard, so staff appear to be appropriately trained.
