Lou's Cafe Restaurant - Kempsey

Without a doubt, Lou's Cafe serves the best iced chocolate in the world! A year ago, and then again after four years, we visited this establishment and were once again impressed. The icy chocolate here is truly amazing and never disappoints. The service is always top-notch as well. Keep up the fantastic work, Lou and team - we will definitely be back!

We have been coming to this restaurant for 30 years and it has never disappointed. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is always great. The portions are very generous and the food is delicious.

The staff was wonderful, the food was excellent, and the prices were affordable. The decor was playful and kept us entertained. It had a family-friendly vibe while still being relaxing.

We have recently taken a road trip in this restaurant during the passage through Kempsey. As Sunday, not many cafés/restaurants were open. This restaurant has an outdoor and indoor seating. We have spring rolls, toastia and a melt. What impressed us... this restaurant was the super fast service and the quality of the food. We enjoyed a generous ice cream coffee with our meal. There was a Sunday supplement on our meal. We found that there is a book exchange area in front of the restaurant, which is a beautiful note. From our observations this is a well-run restaurant with good service and hospitality.

Decided to try this cafe for our breakfast. They have a nice ambience with old fashioned cafe seating. Staff were efficient and friendly. Ordering was easy and the food came out quickly which suited us as we were travelling through. We ordered an egg, bacon...and tomato breakfast and it was only $7.95!! What?? Came out with a couple of slices of toast. Washed down with a pot of tea and a great vanilla milkshake. Thoroughly recommend this cafe for a great breakfast experience.
