Bidra med feedbackI lost finding this place. It is in a very undescribed street and location looks almost like a garage. It is not a very big restaurant and it was 3/4 full when we arrived. We were immediately greeted and sat at the end of the restaurant at a table. We ordered Chicken Karaage and Gyoza to start. Karaage was excellent. My wife, who doesn't usually like fried things, enjoyed it. You also have a spicy version that I think I will try next time. The Gyoza was a bit meh. For Ramen we ordered 2 originals and 1 Tan Tan Tan men. The Tan Tan men was excellent broth was tasteful and enough spicy that you get a kick, but without exaggerating everything. The original was not so good broth was not so tasteful. The noodles were also the just thin kind that is not our favorite. We also had 1 order of extra noodle on the side that was pretty good. Service was good and washroom was clean. We were underwhelmed for one of the top Ramen places in Kelowna.
We recently dined at this restaurant and were impressed with the atmosphere, food quality, and service. The chicken karaage (twice as good as Popeyes), the ramen, the gyoza (preferably pan-fried), and the okonomiyaki have all become favorites for us. The prices are reasonable and the service is very pleasant.
I recently dined at this charming restaurant for lunch for the first time. The service was quick and attentive. We began with some tasty Gyozo and both loved our ramen dishes. The broth was flavorful, especially the original one, and the noodles were cooked perfectly, not mushy. The service was friendly and we enjoyed our experience so much that we have already made a reservation for dinner the next day. Highly recommended!
The Japanese restaurant was decent, but not outstanding. The ramen tasted average, especially compared to the authentic Sapporo ramen from Hokkaido. The noodles were thin and the broth was a bit oily. The overall taste was okay for a regular meal. The karaage was the standout dish, but the meal as a whole was just average. The restaurant had a casual atmosphere with minimal warm hospitality from the staff. While the employees were polite when taking orders, they didn't seem to make an effort to provide better service.
Had great ramen and gyoza here. The service was fast too. The food was delicious, definitely can't wait to come back again. Would recommend to anyone craving ramen when in Kelowna!
