Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant is small, resembling a traditional fish and chip shop. They offer delicious gluten-free fish and chips.
We finally decided to have lunch at this restaurant that we had heard so much about, and it did not disappoint! It is a cozy spot attached to a seafood market with its own terrace. They offer specials from 1pm to 4pm, which was a great deal for us. We ordered cod, seafood, mussels and clams, Caesar Salad, Pommes, and half a dozen oysters. Everything was delicious, especially the spicy and flavorful stew. Even my son, who doesn't like spicy food, enjoyed it. My wife claimed that the oysters were the best she had ever had in Kelowna. The tacos were also a hit, served in tapas size and very tasty. Although they initially forgot our salad, they quickly rectified the mistake once we pointed it out. The restaurant has a laid-back vibe, so service can be slow, but the food is worth the wait. We are happy we finally tried this place out.
I trusted my instinct to try a fish and chip place connected to a fish market, and I was not disappointed. I ordered the Cod and it was excellent, with a beautiful portion size. The chips were large and fresh, and the Coleslaw was made with local ingredients. The gluten-free batter on the fish was perfect. I would recommend taking a detour from the highway to eat here if you are passing through Kelowna. Enjoy your meal at the picnic tables or outdoor seating area.
We went to the BROKEN ANCHOR restaurant with our two guys for an amazing gluten-free meal, we had the 6 pieces healbutt and it was fabulous. This is the first place In Okanagan we have found who host a ENTIRE gluten free menu....The staff Paiten and Aiden offers amazing service, and we will return safely. AMAZZIIINNGGG
This was a great little place but things have changed. We had clam chowder and fish and chips. The chowder should be called flour chowder with many potatoes and a few carrots. The fish was over cooked and very disappointing experience overall. Will not return
