Bidra med feedbackOver the years the Market has grown, and the selection of food has improved. There is almost no need to shop in Kelowna anymore. From a butcher counter to fresh produce, everything you need is right on the hill. The liquor selection is second to none as well.
For a small market, this establishment has most everything a visitor would want or need while visiting Big White. A lady strolled the aisles to direct customers or to answer questions concerning the store’s inventory. The variety of items displayed was impressive. Their price point is rather high but no doubt a person would be inconvenienced if he/she chose to go elsewhere to purchase grocery or beverage items.
The prices at remote ski resorts are usually steep, but the Mountain Mart takes it to another level. Charging $11.73 for a small Haagen Dazs ice cream is outrageous. Additionally, if there is a discrepancy between the posted prices and what the computer says, the computer is always correct. While they do offer a refund, it's best to do your shopping in Kelowna before heading to Big White.
This little market has everything you need for a stay on the mountain, or if you just forgot to bring some item for a more comfortable stay on the mountain
The prices may be higher than kelowna but you can find everything you need to tide you over for a week, especially if you just need a few odds and ends. But for a small store they really do a great job at carrying a lot of good food.
