Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I have dined several times by 6 degrees during our last trip. At all visits the staff were incredibly accommodating and the food was top notch. Wine proposals were also excellent. Worth a visit. Enjoy a new visit one day
This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. The service was okay, with a friendly server, but lacked knowledge of good service and included a significant service charge added to the bill. The wine was tasty, although it was chosen by one of my friends. The waitress had limited knowledge about Okanagan wines. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, but the plates were cold which resulted in the food being lukewarm. The meat was not cooked according to the customer's preferences. Overall, the experience at this restaurant was somewhat disappointing and also expensive. We visit White every year, but I probably would not choose to eat here again.
We arrived for an 8 pm dinner reservation 10 minutes early. We were rudely told by the owner to go away and come back on time as there was no room to wait. So we waited outside in the cold snow and it was not...pleasant. Eventually at 8.15 we were sat down at our table after then having to q at the door.. It took one and a half hours for our one course to be served. At this time the owner had disappeared. The restaurant seems to work like a school dinner system, all the starters are served first then the mains then the deserts. One of the worst dinning out experiences we have experienced in a long time.
We had a fantastic evening to end our night. The food was excellent, with each course feeling like a wine tasting experience. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere. If you are in Big White, this is a must-visit spot.
We had a romantic dinner on the mountain for our date night. The service was outstanding. The restaurant is small with only two seats, so be sure to make a reservation in advance. They have a wonderful selection of local Okanagan Valley wines that you should definitely try. The menu changes weekly, but there are some favorites that remain. I tried the Bison and I must say, it was delicious. Make this restaurant your special night out while you are up on the mountain.
