Eastern Indian Curry Kebab - Kells

After living in the UK for more than 20 years and visiting numerous Indian restaurants, I must say that the food at this restaurant is some of the best I have ever had. I am delighted to have found the same quality in Waterford.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant. It seems like the vegetarian dishes are better than the chicken dishes. The kehari was average, not the best but not the worst either. The madras was really spicy.

The vegetarian dish was delicious. The staff was very friendly. Convenient parking for takeout, and they also offer delivery.

This restaurant was formerly the Blue Mango and we got take aways regularly from there. I went in and asked the what their take away specials were and was told they are written on the take away leaflets. So given the lack of interest in explaining the specials I read the leaflet – there were two specials 1. Order 2 main courses receive the 3rd main course free 2. Spend more that €50 and receive a free bottle of wine I then said we would order 4 main courses and avail of the offer of 2 free main courses. It was explained that we would only receive 1 free main course. I told them this is not consistent with the offer. I was then told that as the order was over €50 I had to have Offer 2 a free bottle of wine. I suggested that I would order 2 main courses and have a free main course and pay for it. My wife would do the same and was told that this option was not available as we were trying to do the same as when I first came in and that I had to have the free bottle of wine offer as it was over €50. I said this was crazy business logic that I didn’t want to have wine with curry and was informed that that is how the boss wanted it done. So we left and went to another Indian restaurant where we got a special offer on take away and spent €84 on the take away as we also bought extra starters, nan breads and extra rice. We won’t be back to this restaurant again.

After long time found my flavored madras curry (love it) ' 'excellent ' '. food was great staff are very friendly.
