We ate here early mid-week and was surprised by how busy it was and how many tables had bookings. Why this was the case I am really not sure because this is really just an average place where the main selling point is the portion sizes. Service was friendly and attentive and the restaurant had a decent atmosphere once it started to get busy. The food was good in terms of portion sizes but really it was quite average in terms of what it was. Cuts of meat were generous but generally a little tougher and lacking in taste than I would have liked. Prices were reasonable – so this is a place to come and eat lots of food to get full, not somewhere you really need to bring your palate.
