Country Life Vegetarian Buffet - Keene

My life would be empty without Country Life in Keene, NH. There are no other vegan options available in the immediate vicinity and I love the food and service provided. The employees have also become my friends. The attention and work placed in daily preparations is exemplary!

This is a fantastic place to visit. If you are looking for a real fresh home cooking that is vegan, tasty and healthy, then the must stop here is place. There are certain times for different dishes on their website. But if you come in it's buffet style and you are calculated by weight. I would say it is a fair price for genuine healthy fresh home cooked food. And they don't make you dessert like most places. For the quality of the dessert I had (which could not compare many), I think it was all a fair price. Staff here (or owners, not sure) are simply super friendly and are ready for all questions you can have about the food. You feel like you're just welcome to a real home kitchen. If I had lived here, I'd be here all the time. It is a relaxed atmosphere. Nothing beautiful just cozy home like. I not only enjoyed their food, but the hospitality was an extra part that made the experience wonderful. There were many regulars here and I can see why. One must try is her vegan cheesecake. It was just scrumbling. It was only fresh and it wasn't the frozen way to hold them together. I don't know if this had a cashew base or what, but the texture was as much as a regular cheesecake and with this genuine cheesecake taste too. Besides some berries, they also had their own whip cream to raise them. That can't say enough. I remember it was almonds and coconuts. Even if you are just looking for a real good vegan dessert treat then simply stop. You'll love it. I know I'll be here every time I'm in this area for vacation. Up!
