Would it be possible to know why the restaurant was closed? (we were a little accustomed) meri in advance cordially

The entertainment factor at this restaurant is huge as the front of house manager is completely over the top. Long wait for service but when our food arrived one dish looked as if it had been drying out on the pass for a while. However tasty food in very large portions and excellent desserts.

While visiting my daughter and her family in Freiburg, we spent a day in nearby Alsace region. Failing to get into the nearby Michelin rated restaurant, we found this restaurant nearby and could not have been happier. Rustic cellar dining area, good service and very good food. I tried one of their traditional Alsatian offerings.

Marion me have had dinner in this restaurant and it was more than okay. The 2 guys that worked were very complementair, one quit and precise, the other extravagant and fun. The portion were huge, 1 is enough for 2. Tasted great. Got good advice about what to combine etc.

Having failed to get into the Michelin starred restaurant opposite where our enquiry about tale availability was not met with the best grace we headed straight across the road to an enthusiastic welcome .Although not a busy night there was plenty of atmosphere and the waiter was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Food was pretty good too with some interesting dishes and waiter makes sure you know exactly what to expect .Good beer and wine selection availability.
