Jive Cafe 2020 - Kawerau

Had a week working locally and was recommended Jive by some local staff. I couldn’t speak more highly of them. Great friendly accomodating staff, equally great food and service. Looking forward to our next visit! EDIT: November 2023 New owners same amazing chief same amazing food!

Totally felt ripped off today. Ordered 2x mied grill meals, calamari and chips and fish burger meal. I looked at the prices. Fair prices when I rang to make my to go order it cost me $108.00. bummer, never again. I can understand prices have gone up but that's rediculous. Be careful famz

Awesome service and meals to die for. The portions are huge so it’s great value for money. Was a little hard to find but well worth it once we did will definitely be returning here again and recommend this place to others

Great feed here. Had the English breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. Hearty serving size. The two people running the show were lovely and welcoming. Very good coffee! They also have a selection of home made pies which look amazing! I'll definitely be back soon.

Environment is okay but what give this place 5stars are the food. They are delicious, reasonably priced and the portion is generously huge. Ordered English breakfast and cappuccino. The coffee is not bad.
