Bidra med feedbackIt’s no more than a “been there, done that” moment. The ramen/soba wasn’t bad or anything but nothing spectacular nor anything to shout out about. The Special Chicken Broth Ramen was the highlight of the menu. The chicken slices were juicy and succulent and the broth was thick, creamy and full of umami. The ramen was cooked al dente and wasn’t dense/heavy. Overall an above average bowl of ramen. It’s worth a visit if you’re in the vicinity but definitely not a good use of time to travel from afar to enjoy this ramen. You can get equivalent satisfaction from a lot of other ramen shops all over Tokyo.
Apparently this is a michelin recommended restaurant. We had to queue up around 40-60 mins. Most people who were queuing were foreigners. We ordered a normal and a special soba in noodles. The soup base was VERY strong and filling. Dont get me wrong, it was lovely but after having half the bowl, it got a bit too filling.
Impressed with the deluxe chicken broth Ramen! Very flavorful and noodles cooked just right. The deluxe had additional side dish, but it was unnecessary as the same toppings were already included in the normal version.
I went with their classic chicken broth. Creamy, tasty, amazing! I definitely understand why some call it the best ramen in Tokyo. I also too the smoked char-sui, and omg, this thing is so good. I'll come again for the truffle version. The place is not easy to find, and you need to access it via a small alley from the sides of the building block. Follow Google maps.
Without a doubt the most interesting and delicious ramen. The regular chicken base was rich and comforting, the anchovy base was complex and delicious. Noodle texture was excellent and very generous. Chicken rice with butter was also delicious. Wait was about 45 minutes but it was worth it.
