South Yard Kitchen Hare - Kawagoe

Great small eatery, relaxed, upbeat atmosphere. Enjoyed the pulled pork "Cuban "sandwich (panini). Intriguing art.

The shop is an awesome little family run business. They do AMAZING Cuban sandwiches!! If you love a good Cuban, I highly recommend this place! The interior has a industrial chic to it, and out front they even have standing benches where you can eat, tie up your pet, and there's even a water/food bowl for your pet too!

Very small restaurant with 2 main seating areas and a bar. They sell a range of food including tacos, fried rice, and sandwiches. Staff were very accommodating. Although they didn’t have any vegetarian options, they adjusted one of their menu items by removing my the meat and adding cheese. The ambiance was great. Excellent music and decorations. A bit far from the station but if you’re in the area, it’s a nice spot to stop in.

Food was alright. The atmosphere was decent, but honestly nothing special to write home about

We were asked to wait (not inside but outside in the cold while an available table was cleaned. We obliged and waited outside for over ten minutes while the staff didn’t clean the table or make any effort to let us know how long it might take. (Perhaps hand us a menu etc. . We didn’t stick around for food although it looks good! Disappointing
