As soon as we arrived at the restaurant, the first thing that struck us was that amidst the city's chaos, you find yourself in a tranquil and serene environment. On one side, there’s the garden of Topkapı Palace, and on the other, a stunning view of the Bosphorus. If you want to enjoy this view before it gets dark, I recommend arriving 1-2 hours early – starting the evening with a few drinks sounds delightful. If you’re hoping to find familiar kebab dishes typical of Turkish cuisine on the menu, you might be mistaken. While there are kebabs, they showcase more complex flavors from Anatolian culture, including Cazlak Kebab, Eggplant Sautéed Kebab, and Çökertme Kebab, among others. I started my meal with the Chene Çarpan soup, followed by the Chestnut Bozbaş, both of which were quite delicious. I finished my meal with the Bosphorus Pearl for dessert. The service was very professional yet warm. The terrace restaurant is only available in the summer months when the weather permits. As we were leaving, they showed us the winter restaurant, which looked beautifully decorated. I wonder if you'll enjoy it as much as we did!
This charming restaurant offers delicious and reasonably priced meals compared to other places in the area. Tucked away on a side street close to the Gülhane tram station, it is definitely worth a visit for its attentive service and a menu featuring a variety of tasty dishes from Anatolia.
