Karavansarai - Kaunas

Awesome place! Everything was tasty. There is a seitan, really rare find in Lithuania. Warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Dog friendly place!

I've been here a couple of times, all of them were great. Last time I was really impressed by the staff, we stayed alittle after closing time and that was super cool. The food is delicious, drinks are great, hot sauce is amazing and well worth the 1eur. The only drawback is the location, takes a bit to get there from kaunas.

Place itself is nothing fancy, cozy and simple. Very nice location for a walk around after your meal. We've had bbq pork ribs and chicken shashlik, mojito and home made kvass. Ribs were probably the best ones I've had in Kaunas, really delicious, somehow a bit different from usual ribs, but in a good way. Chicken was also very good and juicy. From mojito I can tell that cocktails should be worth a try, it was tasteful and had a kick in it. Kvass although was not as good as I expected, I'd say lack of taste, maybe it should've been on hold for a day or two more before serving :D 2 meals with mojito and kvass cost 32€. I've seen someone saying that it's expensive place, but I'd say price/quality is balanced very well. Will definitely come again! Recommend this place.

The food was amazing, I have chosen a vegan plovas and couldn't believe the fantastic taste. My sister was having a salmon and was too very happy. The service is helpful and friendly, chefs would come out to talk with customers. Very positive

Not pricey, good selection, unique food in other words I really recommend to everyone. I think anyone will find something that they will like there, some their special coffee, some dumplings or their really spicey sauce or just nice environment it self (also service is pretty good too).
