Bidra med feedbackGot there and was immediately greeted and sat. There weren’t many people when initially arriving but after being there for awhile a lot more people had showed up. This was my first time trying Malaysian food and I was delighted with it. Many of the food combinations I wasn’t used to but everything I got was pretty good. The environment was nice and the server was polite but average. I got the Mango chicken, skewers (half chicken, half beef), and shrimp and pork dumplings. The Mango chicken was steamed chicken with red onions, bell pepper, mango, in a delicious sweet sauce; it was served with a side of rice. The skewers were served with a sweet sauce, the chicken was definitely better than the beef. The dumplings were my least favorite thing. I wasn’t a fan of the look nor the texture of them. All in all a nice place with decent food and service.
This Malaysian restaurant is located at one of the many strip-malls in Katy. The building is modern and the dining area is divided into smaller areas to make it appear cozy. Service was friendly, informal and prompt, but very basic. There was no attempt to clean the table between courses, although sauces had d bee spilled and a little wipe would have been welcome. Interesting cocktails and juices. We shared all plates and the meal was enjoyable. We started with Roti (an Indian flat bread with a delicious curry chicken dip. We also enjoyed the Kerabu Prawns, skewered large prawns with pickled papaya, mango peanuts and toasted sesame. While it is advertised to come with a light spicy sauce, we didn't detect the kick. The Salt and Pepper Calamari were crisp, flavorful and slightly crunchy: delicious! The Mango chicken was a winner, with fresh mango, bell pepper and onions, also in a light (Spicy? sauce. Beef Rendang (shank was served with a coconut curry and chunks of potato. It was reminiscent of Hungarian Goulash, but with the addition of coconuts. Beef Hor Fun was our final choice: savory, although less memorable. Stir-fried Organic green beans and stir-fried Snow Pea tips made for delightful vegetable accompaniments. Overall, it was an enjoyable family dinner, with flavorful food and generous portions. The red peppers on the manu suggesting spicy food are not reflected in the dishes.
Thought I would do a bar hop through a few of these bars in this Asian district. Phat ended the journey and honestly it was the best stop.Just had the curry chick appetizer and the pineapple ginger juice. Looking around the room the drinks and the food looks good.Definitely at the top of my list for date night with the wife.Parking: Open parking for a plaza.Wheelchair accessibility: Fill acce
The food here is pretty good! Just wish most entrees weren’t $20 or more. But the roti canai and malay ho fun are both very tasty! Our server was a bit hard to hear inside the restaurant.Food: 4/5
The environment here is excellent, and all the staff members are fantastic. The food is also very unique,I wouldrecommend the tofu, which is incredibly tender and juicy. It was a delightful dining experience.Food: 5/5
