Landry's Seafood House Katy

The New Year's Night was not very busy, so the atmosphere was not loud. we had excellent service with austin. our food was very good and the kitchen was fast. really enjoyed the captain gumbo, although $25 is a bit high. but delicious!

The atmosphere was not elegant at all. it felt like a casual family dinner place. there was no mix of guests. everyone was older. I went to the silvester there, and it was a mistake. it was absolutely no festive ambiente.

Last time we were in this landry 's was pre-pandemic and, to t has time, it was just ok. we decided to try it again on a Friday afternoon. it was almost empty, but we received immediate attention from jose . he was in us, with an excellent meal. there was never a hurry, all menu questions were answered by jose in very well known wise. we shared an appetizer of shrimp enbrochette, the wqas excellent. it came from the kitchen hot! also the iceberg wedge salad was good. a little more dressing would be an improvement. the most important courses were bourbon maple glazed salmon and crescent city snapper. the salmon was a little dry buit it was also quite tasteful. the potato bacon croquette, which accompanied the salmon, left much to wish. boiled over and not very delicious. the snatch is perfect! boiled perfectly, with crawling, garnel and crust all on a bed of very tasteful rice.

Alyssa was a fabulous server! She looked after every detail and was so friendly. our food was hot and tasty, the fried garnel and cats were great. the chicken penne pasta was amazing! wasn’t in Landry’s in a past, but we’ll be back soon!

It was ok. Not sure if our waiter was new? But we ordered cocktails and gumbo to start. The cocktails took a while to arrive. We had both finished the garlic bread and gumbo we had order and still no cocktail had arrived. The gumbo tasted good as it always does…but it was not very hot. Almost room temp I would say? I notice the table next to us had their drinks, soup and food before us and they arrived after us. We ordered before then as well. I saw when their waiter took their menus. I usually have pretty good service here…maybe it was a off night? It was Christmas and saw that it was pretty steady most the time we were there.
