Mylos is located in the best possible location, on a small hill, above the port in Fry. (Obviously there was a windmill there but unfortunately nothing is visible). We stayed in Kasos for 10 days, and ate here 4 5 times we kept coming back as we enjoyed this place so much. Some of the dishes that stood out were the famous dolmades from Kasos, the smoked fish, the big salads, the meat dishes, the okra and lentil dishes... in fact, everything. I loved the ambiance, every time we went there was a mix of tourists visitors (like us) and locals, which you don't always see at Greek restaurants on the islands. I'm already missing this place and will definitely go back when I visit Kasos again!

Three days in Karpathos and three dinners here. The restaurant has a terrace overlooking the port. It is a simple place frequented mostly by locals, confirmed that it is not for tourist use. Ate meatballs and sausage on the first evening, sweet and sour octopus and grilled squid on the second and third and pasta (like macaroni) with soft local cheese and caramelised onions, delicious, but the main dish is the freshly prepared dolmadakia, small with a filling tasty. The portions are generous, the service is really good as is the price. At the end of dinner, yogurt with black cherries or fresh fruit is offered.
