The Clubhouse - Kaslo

We did a round of golf, and thought we'd stop by for dinner afterward. We were impressed with how good the food was, and at a reasonable cost! Would definitely come back here again.

Lunch. Firstly, the menu on the top of this tripadvisor page is not accurate. Must be a menu 2018. Secondly, the menu that someone has on the 28. April 2019 snaps in, changed. Compared to what was released in April, there are in August... even fewer items to choose and add $2 to $3 to everything on the menu. In view of the menu selection is sparse, the food was nothing special, the service was missing, and for what I got expensive, I would call this place badly to the average. One example is 5 zucchini sticks that were on a few pieces of salad without dip $8. The building and the golf course are beautiful, but I would pass the restaurant.

Whenever we are in Kaslo, we make sure to visit the clubhouse for dinner at least once to enjoy their spacious patio and beautiful views. In the past, the food was just okay. However, this year there is a new boss/manager in charge and things have definitely improved at the clubhouse. During our 5-night stay in Kaslo, we dined there twice. The menu is not extensive, but there is enough variety to please all tastes. One night we enjoyed the Carl Burger with a side salad, and the next night we had homemade chicken soup, Caesar salad, nachos, flourless chocolate cake, and ice cream. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The food is fresh (handmade burgers instead of frozen patties) and the bread rolls are baked on-site. We can't wait to try their breakfast and the grilled cinnamon buns with whipped butter next time we are in Kaslo. Do not miss out on dining at the clubhouse in Kaslo - we're already looking forward to our next visit to enjoy the patio again!

The golf course is stunning, with incredible views and a peaceful atmosphere. Golf carts and cars are available, and the course itself is in excellent condition. The clubhouse includes a small golf shop and a restaurant with delicious food and generous portions. Overall, a fantastic place for a round of golf!

Choices are increasing, gluten free breads and pasta available, more wine choices and the soups are outstanding! Open all winter as well which is great!
