Bidra med feedbackMe and my friends were supposed to meet a few more people, but before the actual meeting we decided to have something quick to eat. She introduce me to the Sister and their version of traditional czech “open sandwiches”. And I fell in love with it. Czech sandwiches are typically served at parties and so on, they are made from white bread, spreads as butter or potato salad and topped with ham, salami or cold meat. The sandwiches are good but not really healthy.
Tried Sisters's Chlebíčky when I was on vacation to Prague. The place is quite small, located just around the corner with a small signage, and I almost missed it even when I am standing in front of the store. Fortunately, the locals are very helpful, and they help me finding the place. The interior was very charming, dominated with white colors, small but comfortable. Not only colorful, these open-faced sandwiches were surprisingly really good, with crispy bread and generous toppings. There were so many options so I tried a few types of Chlebíčky: the ones with salmon, eggs, and pork, and well, I loved them all. Would love to eat these again someday, hopefully. The staffs were also really nice even though they can't speak English fluently, and I also bought several bottles of coffee shots from Sofee, that is really good. I wish I could bring more back home, and more Chlebíčky!
Pretty place, great service! Loved it :D A very good place to go for a small bite with long chats with your friends : Would surely recommend it to all :
One of the places, we ate while in Prague. This one of the place famous for open sandwichs, which is a local specialty at Prague. The presentation of the food is spectacular and that makes the dish very appetising. For vegetarian (egg eating), they have 3 varieties. I tried all three and really liked the one with avocado and cucumber. Also there desserts were just as good. Overall a great place to try some good looking unique food.
We went to Sisters for their famous Open faced sandwiches Tried the beef sandwiches and the salmon. Freshly made and reasonably priced this is a fabulous little find.
