Peperoncino - Karlin

Cosy little Italian place with a limited menu. Their menu consists of some starters, pasta and steaks. Do not visit if your looking to have a pizza ! Having said that whatever little they offer is all good and made for a delicious lunch on a rainy day !

I was surprised by this restaurant. The main space is fine with the omnipresent black boards and white writings... red and white checked tablecloth and wooden chairs. The garden is really nice with big trees and green grass. Few tables and nice service. I had a vitello tonnato that was very good. I did not expect such a high quality of food from a simple place like that. Not inexpensive but worth the price.

Ok, I have to admit that this place is kinda very very close to me. First of all T 'ga za Jug on the wall, it is like Macedonian bible : and both the owner and myself are from down south. But I will be as realistic as possible... The interior is very smart and nice, little minimalistic, but the tables with nice cutlery and the colors, wall with olive oil and wines make it enough. The focus here is on the food! Definitely some cooks can learn how to make pastas here! Absolutely no mistake : I know, I said I will not take sides but when it comes to the pasta here, I can 't hear a bad word! Not to mention that it has the best coffee on Letna. Fresh fish and see food is found here, imported a day old from Croatia. Just ask if there is anything fresh, sometimes they don 't put it on menus because regulars and friends know this and they might pop by, so they keep a piece or 2 : The garden in the back is great, nice and calm. But I already told them they should invest a bit to make a platform, organize better children 's corner etc... If you are on Letna and want to escape the beer gardens, take a date here and ask the waiter for recommendations! Believe me you will have a great bite and night :

Stylova restaurace s jednoduchym, ale moc prijemnym designem. Velke plus ma travnavata prostorna zahradka ve vnitrobloku : obsluha by mohla byt prijemnejsi. Ceny odpovidajici kvalite pokrmu. A jaky ze ty pokrmy teda jsou? No kdyz jidlo stoji kolem 200 Kc a ceny odpovidaji, tak asi dobry!!! : muzu rict, ze jsem byla fakt nadsena. Ochutnala jsem snad vse a vse bylo vyborne. Mohu doporucit foccaciu s kozim syrem, tunakovy i lososovy tatarak, prosciutto s melounem a stejne tak pecene papriky s fetou. Z poledniho menicka jsem mela cerne spagety s tunakem a kapary vytecne!! A ke skvelemu kaficku doporucuji z denni nabidky (pokud bude cokoladove tartuffo, to byl teda orgasmus v puse! Tiramisu mi moc nechutnalo, takove dost bez chuti, ale mne nechutna skoro nikde, krome doma od maminky : Peperoncino urcite doporucuji navstivit, nebudete litovat ;

Výborné jídlo, příjemná a ochotná obsluha, boží atmosféra a venkovní zahrádka... člověk úplně zapomene, že je v centru Prahy. Vyzkoušeli jsme steak z tuňáka a těstoviny (bohužel už si nepamatuji jméno), ale jídlo bylo za chvilku na stole a byla to pecka! Za mě palec nahoru!!!
