If you enjoy Mexican cuisine, this is the place for you. Even though it's a bit far from the center, it's definitely worth a visit. The food is excellent, and at great prices. The interior has an authentic feel and the service is friendly, making you feel very comfortable here.

Don't let the remote location of Zlíchov and the fact that Fosil is a bit off center deter you from taking a trip here from Anděl or Barrandov - it's definitely worth it! A small and pleasant place with the best Mexican food I've had in Prague so far, authentic service, music, and decor, you'll feel comfortable here. And most importantly, you'll eat great and every bite is an experience. I definitely recommend the Sopa de Tortilla soup. If you want a lighter, warm dinner without overeating, it's also great for that. Always different in spiciness and flavor but always with plenty of corn, various vegetables, chips, and cilantro. If you're afraid you won't get enough just from the soup, a good choice is to share the Frijoles con queso bean paste - very hearty, plenty of chips, tasty, and very filling. They also have very good main courses. Unlike, for example, El Pueblo Mexicana, they're not swimming in oil. The meat is simple yet boldly flavored, for example, tacos with pastor meat or some of the enchiladas. Each dish always comes with plenty of cream and some spicy salsas, usually a few chips, all generously topped with cilantro. I always have the homemade lemonade for twenty crowns - it's always a little surprise what it will be like. The service is friendly and cheerful, even during busy lunch hours.
