Bidra med feedbackUntil a couple months ago I would have given you a 5 rather than a 3. You used to have cooks and servers who understood Texas style barbecue but now it appears to be more local employees being trained on the job who do not really know how to prepare itproperly. I asked for the brisket to be thin sliced but it was totally shredded. The fried okra did not taste right at all. Iwas there on a weekday at noon hour and there was no line and only one table occupied. I will hesitate before going back anytimesoon.
This place is hot garbage. BBQ is overcooked and lukewarm/cold. Mac cheese was luke warm and trash. Potato salad was the equivalent of store bought bucket junk. My 3yo daughter wouldn't even drink the sweet tea because it was sour. Usually youwant the meat to fall off the bone of the rib instead the bone was falling off the meat from being so overcooked. Garbage, goto Canes and take some BBQ sauce with you.
Is this for real? We’ve been going to Dickey’s for years, and today we spent nearly $100 on a meal, only to find out that the mac and cheese is just Kraft. We even ordered two sides of mac and cheese because it was always our favorite. We are very disappointed.
I ordered a pound of sliced brisket, but what I received was not sliced and was possibly the worst brisket I have ever had. It was dry and excessively salty. At nearly $30 per pound, this was completely unacceptable. We've enjoyed other items from this location that were very good, but I cannot recommend the brisket. However, after speaking with the manager, they provided me with some genuinely great smoked brisket! Thank you for reaching out and making things right!
I ordered five plates from the restaurant, including a mixed meat dish, but one of the meats was missing from my order. The rest of the plates were brisket with their accompanying sides. When I reached out to the restaurant for assistance, they refused to help me unless I returned the plate, which was impractical since I was already at work. The manager was unhelpful and gave me the runaround. This incident occurred on November 4, 2022, and as of December 2, 2023, I still haven't received a refund for the missing meat. It's incredibly challenging to get in touch with anyone at the restaurant, especially a manager who can address the issue of not receiving what I paid for. I wouldn't be as frustrated if it were just one plate and if it hadn't been such an expensive order—my total was $90 plus tax. The most frustrating part was that the manager requested a photo of the plate with the missing meat and the receipt, which the two employees at the restaurant did not provide—I only received emailed receipts. Perhaps they should consider hiring staff who can follow orders accurately so that customers like me don't have to deal with these issues.
