Monico's Taqueria, LLC - Kapa‘a

The place is expensive, but the quality of the food was some of the best Mexicans we had. The homemade taquitos are excellent and the Fajitas are fresh and tasty. We liked the appetizer Taquitos better than the Fajitas, but I don't think you can go wrong with something. The service was also exceptional.

This place has great service. You have a beautiful outdoor seating area, which is my favorite at sunset with excellent Fajitas and a great Margarita or a design beer. Try the Spinach Salad with Black Fish and Liliquoi Dressing it is my favorite.

Very delicious Mexican restaurant! We started with the chips and salsa that had 3 different types of salsa and different spice levels. The atmosphere and service were also exceptional. Then we ordered chicken Fajitas and Fajitas Al Pastor, who had so much taste and exactly the right amount of spice. The Fajitas even had zucchinis in them, which was a nice change from the usual green paprika. Overall, we would highly recommend this Mexican restaurant!

Absolutely loved this restaurant! Food was excellent staff was friendly and courteous. They were extra busy, but still managed to get us food and drinks in no time. Outside of the coconuts and some pretty friendly goats and babies run around.

Best Mexican food we have had in Kauai. The quality of the meats, salsas, and flavors were outstanding. Jaylana, our server, was kind and attentive. The bathrooms were pristine. No reservations were required when we went at 5pm on a weeknight. Outside seating has view of palm fields, baby goats and the street. A real must when in the mood for Mexican.
