Bidra med feedbackI love Taco Republic but what I didn't expect was to sit in the regular taco side that was barely decorated, no holiday music and just wasn't festive. I would have never paid $28 dollars for a seat in the regular taco restaurant. I will be back to eat their tacos in general but not for a pop-up bar.
The value of experience for the price for reservations did not seem to match. There was no Christmas music and while there was decorations, it did not feel any more decorated than other bars throughout KC that did not require fee for reservations. There was also no music at all which really decreased the ambience. Food was fabulous though, so yummy.
Service was bad. My table was largely ignored. Food was great as always
Not sure why there’s a $7 reservation charge per person when people were able to easily walk in and be seated without one? And the $7 charge is not applied towards your bill. The restaurant seemed to be as it always is, with some Christmas decor thrown in. Same menu, a few overpriced seasonal drinks. Love Taco Republic, but we won’t waste our money on this “pop up” in the future.
This was advertised as a pop up bar but did not live up to one. The decorations was very cheap and hardly in theme. They played Mexican music instead of going with the theme. We paid $7 each for the reservation and this did not go toward the drinks. We could have walked in because there was hardly anyone there and most likly would not have been charged the $14. Very poor experience for a pop up.
