Plaza III, The Steakhouse - Kansas City

Last night, we dined at Plaza III, a restaurant that has been serving elegant cuisine for over 40 years. It was a bittersweet experience as they were closing their doors. I have taken my young children to this special place for various occasions, from birthdays to graduations. Plaza III in Kansas City is known for its top-notch food, service, and traditional kitchen. It was a nostalgic evening as we said goodbye to the staff and manager. Unfortunately, this review will not be displayed on OpenTable as the restaurant is now closed. I hope that Plaza III will find a new location and continue the tradition that has brought my family back time and time again for a special dining experience.

I loved the plaza iii since my first dinner there 12 years ago. I'm devastating that it's going to end. I am so blessed that I can have been there last night on the plaza. I'll miss the people and eat that!

It is sad to see a country club plaza institution after 55 years. big steaks, big wein, great live music with lonnie mcfadden. the plaza will be less attractive without this restaurant/lounge. we look forward to the restaurant opening in a new location soon.

We are so sad this place is closing. We went here quite a bit for happy hour and had so much fun. We had staff members that were friends after going in so much and we always spent our special occasions here.

I’m so very sorry to see this iconic Kansas City restaurant close. The Plaza is losing a legendary steakhouse! With each independently owned business that closes our city loses more of it’s history, uniqueness and charm.
