What a surprise at such a gloomy gray Drippy day to find a really welcoming, pleasant and so charming little coffee shop. A truly dedicated couple serves one of the best lattes I had with muffins that melt in your mouth! You must try this on your journey through IL.
Drive from Kenosha, considered an early cup of luck and found this cute coffee shop. Friendly and hip staff, warm and stylish decor. Had lavender and vanilla coffees and panini sandwiches. Sitting in a large historical brick building.
Always a good choice for breakfast or lunch. Such a unique restaurant both in the atmosphere and in the kitchen and very popular. Our small group plans to go there every month! I had breakfast toast, which looked like marble rye, with arugula, roasted tomatoes and pine nuts and a fantastic latte. We liked our breakfast choices.
Perfect little place to sit and do homework. Great coffee, great atmosphere, the best music and the sweetest views! The owners are super sweet. I'm driving 35 minutes.
I came in on a Wednesday around 1pm. There was ample seating and the staff was knowledgeable. The atmosphere is cozy and quant. They do have vegetarian options. There are two seating rooms. One room is very bright while the other one has a more dim secluded feel. Perfect for introverts or even those who just want a moment alone. I for one sat in the secluded room to knit in peace. I ordered a salad and black coffee. Both were very good. I highly recommend this cafe.
