Restaurant Victoria Ritter - Kandersteg

We stop in this restaurant at 2:00 for afternoon coffee and desert. Both were excellent. Our server was a very sweet woman from Portugal who was very nice. We made a reservation for this night with her and we came back at 7:00. She made sure we had a very nice quiet corner table. The bright schnitzel was the best we had in Switzerland. Again the service was very good.

We had a wonderful meal in this restaurant. We had the meatballs and pig carvings with dillsalate. Fortunately, they offered a smaller portion, as our waiter told us that they made wonderful desserts. He was not exaggerated – we had disguised the lemon and 9...small flavors. These consisted of tiny cheesecakes, cakes, chocolate creams etc. and were delicious, and very full. We started in their open-air restaurant, which was pleasant until it began to rain when they were quite happy for us to transfer indoors. The staff was very pleasant and we would certainly recommend the meals here.

After we were rejected for a dinner at Hotel Bernerhof, we found this great place right on the street. A very attractive, typical Swiss furnishings. Good staff, nice menu one of our party was not full at the end of the main course and ordered the selection of puddings absolutely fantastic.

Great service friendly staff, fantastic food a exceptional wine list if you want something special, catered well for the kids

Das Ambiente im Restaurant Ritter zählt unserer Meinung nach zu den schönsten in Kandersteg. Die Speisekarte hebt sich deutlich vom 0815 ab und zeugt von Spass am Beruf. Unser Essen war sehr gut gekocht und wunderschön angerichtet. Wir wurden den ganzen Abend freundlich bewirtet, teilweise sogar von der Hausherrin persönlich.Fazit: Die schlechte Bewertung auf dieser Seite ist uns unerklärlich!
