Suginoi Honami - kanazawa

I’m really enjoying this Japanese traditional food. Good service and delicious food with nice garden view.

We visited the second time. We had a very delicious meal while the relaxing time flows. Finally, the squeezing is an impressive taste.

Slightly secluded but a great kaiseki experience in a very private setting.

This is as perfect as a kaiseki lunch could go. Service is attentive. Restaurant itself was a beautiful room, with a massive window looking out into a lovingly maintained Japanese garden. The food was superb, but that’s probably already obvious thanks to their two Michelin stars. It’s a surprise, though, how reasonably priced lunch was at ¥5,000 a person! My favourite was the dessert: gummy flat hand-cut noodles that you fish out of a bowl of ice water then dip into a pool of dark, molasses-flavoured syrup. I could have another serving of that!

Great service, wonderful food, nice view and comfortable environment, this is a perfect restaurant.
