Okina Sushi - kanazawa

Great sushi fresh from the market. I can't say enough about the owners who were incredibly friendly and made it a great experience. While they don't speak much English, we talked about google all the time.

Such a warm welcome. The owners only speak Japanese but we managed to communicate. Absolutely delicious food. Amazing value for the price.

Not very clean, but sushi is quite good. very quiet and small, cosy.

Great sushi. ¥2,000 for a meal set of 9 sushi made fresh in front of you. The couple running it don't speak English but are very friendly we had a full on conversation through Google translate. We were invited behind the bar to try rolling our own sushi rolls. A very local and pleasant experience.

We went there with my sister and her husband who speak quiet well Japanese. The chef and his wife were very nice to us, we discussed with them the whole night! The food was very good and rather cheap, except for the salmon sushis. The squids sushi were really really yummy. Hot saké was very nice as well. Definitely a cool place, I would recommend it to anyone that speaks Japanese (no menu, nobody speaks English).
