Manta - KAMUELA

The service was excellent and the food was great. We celebrated an anniversary and they helped make it so special. Access to the beach is wonderful and makes a great walk before dinner. The bar is well equipped and supported by a miracle worker. The only knock I would give was specific to us. With a private dinner service and people run rudely through our area. I say, please block the sides on the terrace to avoid these rude interruptions to an otherwise excellent experience.

The food and the atmosphere here are great!! It is nostalgic with the beautiful jazz music game and classical architecture. The food and service are great, all here were friendly. Great location with sea view. The sunsets are best here. Your signature dishes have a small orange manta next to them!!

That was our favorite restaurant on the big island. The service was amazing and the food was really good. We did not have much good food on the big island (as it is very remote) so we were excited to get a last minute reservation here! I ordered everything the waiter recommended and I was not disappointed! The views were amazing and we even saw a huge manta-ray dancing from the view deck after our meal! It was a perfect evening!

Book your reservation early. We had such a wonderful evening with some new friends we met here on the Big Island! The views from Manta are tremendous, such a lovely sunset. Sylvia (our server was awesome! We tried the Manta Sashimi plate (Excellent , the Lobster Tail Tempura (very good , the mixed greens salad (good , and Mac Nut Encrusted Mahi Mahi (good . The Mai Tais were just strong enough and a little bit sweet. If we have a chance to dine here again I would order the Sashimi again (100% and maybe try the Filet? A little bit pricey, but you're on vacation in Hawaii, right? Treat yourself!

Unparalleled breakfast views. The photos talk for themselves! Whether you order from the menu or get the buffet, your breakfast here is delicious. Fresh island fruit and pastries galore. Not only that but the staff is incredible and kind. We have been coming to the Mauna Kea for years and the staff at Manta has consistently been wonderful. Can?t say enough good things about Manta!
